What Data We Collect

None. This extension does not collect any personal information, browsing history, usage data, or any other form of data from its users.

How the Extension Works

SFCC BM QuickLinks stores configuration data (BM host URLs, site IDs, storefront domains) locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage APIs:

chrome.storage.sync — Stores your environment settings. Synced across your Chrome browsers via your Google account (handled entirely by Chrome, not by us).
chrome.storage.local — Stores UI preferences like badge position and selected site. Stays on your device only.

No data is ever sent to any external server, third-party service

Remote Code

This extension does not load or execute any remote code. All functionality runs locally within the extension package installed on your browser.

Permissions Explained

The extension requests broad host permissions because Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) storefronts run on custom domains unique to each client. There is no single predictable domain pattern. The extension checks each page against your configured domains and immediately exits on non-matching sites.

storage — To save your environment configurations locally.
host_permissions — To detect SFCC storefronts on any domain you configure and display Business Manager quick links.

Third-Party Services

This extension does not integrate with, send data to, or receive data from any third-party services, APIs, or analytics providers.

Cookies & Tracking

This extension does not use cookies, fingerprinting, or any other form of user or telemetry. We use GA tracking just to check how many users using extension

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is ever updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Since the extension collects no data, significant changes are unlikely.
